But we’re not talking about THOSE STDs. No, we’re talking about save the dates–you know, those preludes to a wedding invitation that you get in the mail about six months before the big day. Yeah, those STDs. We’ve made them before for customer weddings but until now you couldn’t purchase them through our gallery. Now save the dates are a product option on every design page in the gallery, making it easy to get a price for and checkout with those little calendar requesters. We even offer mail service for save the dates so customers don’t have to stamp, seal, and send them if they don’t want to.
You see them everywhere these days. Those weird, pixely squares on billboards, car decals, magazine ads, etc. If you know what they’re for you might zap it with your smart phone and be transported somewhere in the digital realm. They’re Quick Response (QR) codes, and they’re the fastest way to get somewhere on the web without having to make a single keystroke. That makes them perfect for an online invitation RSVP, and that’s why Mightyvites now offers QR codes as an optional detail on RSVP enclosures.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be showcasing our invites at the Jenny Yoo Collection Fall Bridal Soirée. The event gives nearlyweds the opportunity to preview Jenny Yoo’s 2011 fall fashion show and meet with wedding professionals. As one of many vendors Mighty Nice will represent the invitation side of the Chicago wedding industry with our Mightyvites.
The event is October 7th at the Zhou B Art Center on Chicago’s South side. Festivities start at 6pm and will last until 8. During that time we’ll be hosting a table with:
When you click on an image in the design gallery a larger version will appear (try it out!). We hope this gives customers a better idea of how their invitations will look.
Each design page now has a Facebook “like” button on it so you can share your favorite designs with your friends (like it!).
We’ve been fleshing out our existing designs with more pictures. We hope to soon have an invitation, enclosure, and web shot for each design in the gallery.
We’ve added a UserVoice feedback forum tab inside the Mightyvites Planner. Hopefully event planners will share their thoughts when they discover a bug or have a great idea while using the planner.
Customers can now choose the number of colors they want on their letter pressed Mightyvites. For instance, a two color design can be changed to one color. This helps make letterpress even more affordable.
