How can I import guests from my Gmail, Outlook, etc. contacts?
Most personal information management programs allow you to export your contacts to a CSV file. Once in CSV format you can import your contacts into a spreadsheet. You can then use the spreadsheet to add guests to your guest list. To do this follow the steps below.
- Export your Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, Outlook, Apple Address Book, etc. contacts to a CSV file. Be sure to save the export file with a ".csv" extension.
- Import the CSV file into a spreadsheet program such as Excel, Google Docs, Open Office, etc. Usually just double clicking the CSV file will start the import for you.
- Use your contacts spreadsheet to to add guests to your guest list
